Since you receive a custom website, your design is not created before we meet. The free initial interview is 90 minutes of you sharing with me what you are doing. I'm there to learn about the workings of your organization, but more than that, the mood of it. What is it that makes it special to you and to others? Also to assist in branding consistency, I'll be looking to see the colors you use, the type of font you feature, and the style you have on your letterhead, your business cards, and newsletters. I will use that information to make a complementary looking website.

The design phase actually starts on a sheet of paper. Here the basic layout of the site is sketched -- and often erased or torn up and thrown away. Once all the pieces have a place and seem to logically connect, a style sheet and home page are designed to see how it looks. From there the other pages are developed to co-ordinate with the overall design. Lot's of time is spent here.

When the coding is "right," we meet again to see if it really IS right. After any corrections, the design code is transfered to your web hosting site. If you don't have a hosting site yet, we walk you through the stages of getting a domain name and a web hosting site. Once posted to your site, time is spent in integrating the content editor, and the Paypal shopping cart if you need one. We meet once more for a tutorial on how to edit the information on your site. Support continues after the site is active. It's merely an email away.
